"Live in Hamburg (Vol.1)" is the first ever live EP by the rock power trio Sloppy Joe's from Hamburg, Germany. When the music world was standing still during the pandemic, the band took the time to listen to their previous concert recordings. Two concerts in their hometown Hamburg have been recorded professionally: the concert for the album release of "Eight Reasons To Rock" (2016) at the sold-out Knust and the band’s release show for the long player "Devil's Music" (2019) at Indra Musikclub. The best tracks from both concerts have now been compiled. In addition to "Devil's Music", the most streamed track from the band's back catalog and also the opener of every show, "Right Decision", "Lonesome No.1", "Make Some Noise" and "Some Broken Hearts Never Mends" are among the track listing. These five songs perfectly capture the atmosphere of a Sloppy Joe's concert: In addition to an energetic live sound, the interaction between band and audience is clearly noticeable. This is a contemporary document for the three rockaholics’ joy of playing live. The EP was produced in the highest audio resolution and gives you the feeling of being there live when you listen to it.
